Overview

This tool mentor is applicable when running Windows 95/98/NT 4.0.

Project policies allow the enforcement of good development practices among a team. By setting policies, you can, for example, minimize problems that may be encountered when integrating work by setting a policy that requires developers to update their work areas with the projectÆs recommended baseline(s) before they deliver work to the integration stream. This practice reduces the possibility of introducing bugs.

Project policies are set when a UCM project is created. They can be modified at any time.
